Same Same Collective are

Same Same Collective will be performing drop dead gorgeous as part of Assembly Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022.

 This is a really exciting step for us but also a huge logistical challenge, and we are therefore recruiting for some production roles to help us pull it off.

Dates: Performances 5-7, 9-11, 13-14 August

Rehearsals (London) w/c 18 July and w/c 25 July (we wouldn't need you every day)

Freelance

Producer

Key responsibilities:

  • Keeping track of all deadlines

  • Creating and managing a marketing strategy 

  • Drafting press release ahead of Festival

  • Securing features/blogs/listings ahead of the Festival

  • Organising print run of marketing materials

  • Organising PLI and PPL

  • Ensuring Press attendance at the show

  • Ensuring international industry attendance at the show

  • Making connections between Same Same and possible international partners and venues

  • Monitoring and driving daily ticket sales 

  • Managing Festival budget (with Same Same)

  • Liasing with the venue where required

Shared responsibilities with Production Manager:

  • Ensuring set, costumes and consumables are 'show-ready' for each performance, including making purchases

  • Creating a flyering rota for each day of Festival

​

Offer:

  • £1000

  • Travel to and from Edinburgh, and accommodation in Edinburgh

Production Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Attending at least two rehearsals to get a sense of the show and its requirements

  • Leading with set-up and take-down for every show, including writing a plan to delegate tasks to company members

  • Operating tech for each show

  • Taking the lead on Health & Safety, including supporting health of the company

  • (Desirable - ability to drive van London-Edinburgh)

Shared responsibilities with Producer:

  • Ensuring set, costumes and consumables are 'show-ready' for each performance, including making purchases

  • Creating a flyering rota for each day of Festival

  • Assist the Producer with marketing the show

​
